Have You Tried a Progressive Dinner Party?
A progressive dinner party is a very neighborly way to socialize. Most people are familiar with pot luck parties where everyone brings the food to one place. With a progressive dinner party, the guests move around to the food instead. Several couples take turns hosting the various courses of the meal, with everyone moving from house to house in time for the next course. I've participated in progressive parties, and they can be a lot of fun. If it's a large group of people who don't know one another well, it helps to begin with ice breaker games.
